Excellence in Early Intervention and/or Early Childhood Award
This award will be given to a direct service provider in the field of early intervention and/or early childhood (birth to six years), who exhibits exemplary work with families and young children. This individual should possess outstanding dedication and commitment to the philosophy of early intervention and/or early childhood, respect for the differences among families and children, and demonstrated outstanding efforts over a reasonable period of time. The recipient may be 1) either a paid or volunteer worker; 2) engaged in direct service to families and young children; 3) be involved directly or indirectly in activities which substantially contribute to the lives of families with young children.
eein Recognition Award
This award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership advocacy and/or professional performance in the field of early intervention and/or early childhood (birth to 6 years) within the last three years. This person may show strengths in policy making, professional development, and advocacy on behalf of early intervention and/or early childhood, individuals, and/or families. This award may include (but not be restricted to): a) families; b) professionals; c) policy makers; d) preservice-inservice training personnel; e) administrators.
